  • Important Note: Some content of this site is incomplete since I had to drop teaching this course after the 7th lecture on Feb. 27th, 2001 due to immigrational reasons based on the limited work authorization provided with my current visa.

This site's content is maintained up-to-date until Feb 27th, 2001 and left alone as it was thereafter.

The course is taken over by Vess Bakalov. Please contact him for issues regarding the course.- Gokhan Boybek - 03/01/01

  • The time has come. Vess Bakalov will be taking over the class. He will be lecturing on Tuesdays 7:00-10:00pm, starting on March 6th. No classes on Thursdays, effective now (i.e. no class tomorrow). I will meet with him to bring him up to date with what we have covered so far. I am sure he will do a great job teaching the course, and hope this change will have no impact on you. Sorry for this inconvenient situation which we had no control over.

It's been quite an experience to lecture for you all, and I would appreciate if you could fill out the evaluation form. Have a great semester.- 02/28/01

  • There won't be class on Thursday 22nd for I have a terrible flu and it doesn't seem to get any better. We will resume on Tuesday. - 02/21/01

  • The TA's mailbox is at 214 Smith. The door of this room is locked except M-F 9:00am-4:30pm. - 02/15/01

  • There was a misunderstanding about the TA's office hours:        It's   not by appointment only. Her office hours are the given hours (see syllabus) and by appointment (in case her office hours are in conflict with your semester schedule or something). - 02/14/01

  • Evaluation page is ready. Please take your time to evaluate me (instructor) and the course frequently during the semester. I wanted to make this evaluation page available early in the semester in order to help improve your performance and mine. - 02/07/01

  • Project number for all CISC-220 sections is 2102. - 02/06/01

  • Welcome to CISC-220-440. - 02/06/01
